Trailer Parking: Yes, Walnut Grove Park in San Marcos has horse trailer parking and multiple arenas that lead to nice multi-use trails.
Horse friendly: Yes very friendly!
What to expect: You can expect Beautiful shady paths with peekaboo views of the golf course. Lots of auto traffic on one side with golf course or houses on the other. Many walkers, runners, dog walkers, strollers and other non-motorized vehicles.
Terrain and difficulty level: Very easy flat ride.
Pros: corrals available, trailer parking, bathrooms available, multiple trails that connect
Cons: very flat ride with little elevation change throughout, doesn't have a loop but must turn around to get back to trailer
