Laguna Coast Wilderness Park
Laguna Coast Wilderness Park
Hours: 8 am - 5pm
Trailer parking: The only lot that can possibly fit horse trailers is Big Bend. It costs $3 to park here for the day. You may have to maneuver your trailer in a weird way to fit into this lot.
Horse friendly: The people on trail are super horse friendly. However the parking lot and the amenities do not reflect that. There is nothing but a gravel road and if you call they will not hold spots for a horse trailer to fit.
What to expect: This trail does not allow dogs at all. You will encounter mostly hikers and bikers.
Terrain and difficulty level: This has to be one of the most difficult trails we have ever completed. We had to get off on the way down because the rocks were getting to dangerous to safely get down via horse back.
Overall thoughts: It had stunning views of the ocean but the parking and difficulty of the trail make this a one and done in our opinion.
Big bend is your best bet for parking but it may still be full.
