Trailer Parking: Staging is offered at Wilson Creek Winery, Leoness Winery, and Danza del Sol Winery, but you MUST call ahead to ask where they want you to park and get permission, as they sometimes have other events going on. There are also several public riding operations with rental horses available at CRC California Ranch Company and Wine Country Trails by Horseback near Danza del Sol. 

Horse-Friendly Wineries: Many wineries have put up hitching rails to welcome riders, and there is an extensive trail system to get from one to the next. If you are interested in learning all the different easements and routes, we recommend setting up a ride-along with the Temecula Eq-Wine Riders group.

What to Expect: Weekends are typically very busy at all of the wineries, so if you are able to go on a weekday, that is best. You may have some riding on paths alongside busy roads, through vineyards (on tractor roads), and through quiet neighborhoods.

Terrain & difficulty: While it is possible to ride up into the hills, most of the terrain between wineries is very flat and easy. 

Overall Thoughts: These are very nice well-maintained trails, and it is nice to have a place to park your horse and go enjoy lunch with a glass of wine, while being able to keep an eye on them. Some of the wineries are also willing to put out a bucket of water for the horses if you let them know you're coming.
