Hours: Dawn to Dusk
Trailer Parking: Yes. The park rangers will direct you to the staging area when you arrive.
Horse-Friendly: It is now! They have done a ton of work to make a really nice network of trails. They are well marked with yellow horseshoes and official signage.
What to Expect: They charge a day use fee of $15 per person. You will encounter RVs, golf carts, and lots of people in the campground areas. There are people playing sports, volleyball and pickleball. They also have a pool at the campground, though it was closed every time we went. It is not set up for equestrian camping at this time.
Terrain & difficulty: The terrain varies, some of the trails are relatively flat and sandy, other parts are hilly. There are some small water crossings depending on rainfall.
Overall Thoughts: After our recent redemption ride here we can now say this trail is totally fun! They also have a cafe for a nice lunch after you ride.
