Trailer Parking: Yes! Here you have Equestrian trailer parking with a few hitching posts and corrals. We have seen up to 15 horse trailers fit here!

Horse friendly: Very!! This place is set up great for equestrians. They even post updates on facebook about any closures for safety.

What to expect: Here you will experience mostly hikers and dog walkers and the water crossing can get too high for bikes to safely cross. 

Terrain and difficulty level: 18 miles of trails in a 1,384 acre preserve. Depending on which trail you decide to take will give you a different difficulty level.

Overall thoughts: The Santa Margarita River Preserve is a fantastic trail with various levels of difficulty. Many water crossings and each time you can take a different route for a very different trail experience.
