Horse Camp of Chihuahua Valley
Horse Camp of Chihuahua Valley
Trailer Parking: Yes. You must reserve and pay for your spot through their Facebook Page, they will tell you which spot is yours to park in.
Horse-Friendly: Very horse friendly!
What to Expect: You may encounter hikers, for sure other equestrians, and bikers. Sometimes dog walkers but wasn't as common.
Terrain & difficulty: Depending on the trail and time of the season the difficulty will change.
Amenities: They do have bathrooms, showers, water for the horses, arena, round pen, tie rails, and wash racks.
Overall Thoughts: The trail was beautiful in the fall with the changing of the colors. You cannot have campfires so find a different way to stay warm when not riding! Each spot can only hold 2 horses so if you have more than 2 you will need to reserve another spot. They have toilets, showers, an arena, a round pen. They do have day-use as well if you don't want to camp, but we are not sure what the cost is.
