Hours: 8am to 7:30 pm
Trailer Parking: Yes. See below for more information.
Horse-Friendly: Mildly friendly. No place to tie up your horse anywhere in or near the trailer parking.
What to Expect: You may encounter hikers and some other equestrians. Bikers are allowed but we did not encounter any.
Terrain & difficulty: Over 700 acres of preserve with various trails that range from moderate to advanced trails. Make sure your horse has shoes on due to rocks. There is a dangerous water crossing on the botancial trail to watch out for.
Overall Thoughts: Its okay, if you want to experience similar trails with easier access for trailer Parking you can ride at Los Penasquitos Canyon County Preserve.

Staging area
The 3 spots for trailers don't allow space for your horse to be tied on the side of the trailer. They have it as first come first serve and cars are allowed to park in the trailer spots. We had 1 ranger state its only first come first serve. A different ranger called back the next day and said during weekday if you call the day prior they can reserve a spot for you.
