Hours: No specific hours but the Guajome Regional Park has hours 9:30 a.m. to sunset daily
Trailer Parking: No. You either live in this area with your horse in your backyard or you park at Guajome Regional Park and make your way through a housing community to get here.
Horse friendly: Yes!! Jeffries Ranch is an equestrian community with lots of bridle paths going from Home Depot and throughout the housing track to a nice non-motorized vehicle trail system behind. The bridle paths are good but you must be careful with the concrete people have placed on their driveways as they can be very slippery! We've also noted at times the trees are not kept trimmed so you might be ducking under branches a lot!
What to expect: Lots of typical suburban life, cars, people maintaining yards, loud noises. Beautiful views from atop the hills behind the houses.
Terrain and difficulty level: Mostly flat during the bridle path areas with some hills in the back portion that is for non-motorized vehicles.
Overall thoughts: We love this trail, however the housing community you must walk through to get to Jeffries Ranch is not horse friendly and you can have some unwelcome interactions with those residents.
