Hours: 8 a.m. to sunset daily
Trailer Parking: There is trailer parking with corrals off of Black Mountain Road, follow the signs to the right in the parking lot! There is a $3 fee to park so bring cash.
Horse friendly: Yes with some exceptions! Some trails are not equestrian approved. Corrals, round pen, and water/wash station available.
What to expect: You will find bikes, dog walkers, cross-country runners, hikers and more! There may be lots of water crossings (when we went, all the bridges were washed out due to rain).
Terrain and difficulty level: Moderate difficulty. Mostly flat but very stony. When you get towards the waterfall, there are some moderate hills. The waterfall is not accessible with horses. Water crossings can be somewhat deep (3+ feet).
Overall thoughts: Beautiful scenery. Names of trails are not well marked, so we recommend sticking with the larger main trails, so as not to get into a dead end. Bathrooms were port-a-potty's.
